24 Hours That Changed the World Bible Study

Everything in Between Sermon Series
Sundays, beginning March 9 | 10:30am
Beginning with Jesus setting his face toward Jerusalem, this worship series flows through several familiar stories—the Good Samaritan, Mary and Martha, the fruitless fig tree, the Lost Sheep, Zacchaeus, and more. “Everything In Between,” invites us to navigate the binaries in our lives with more faith, intention, and openness to be transformed. Each week we explore two ideas, like “faith & works” or “rest & growth,” or “grief & hope.” We often consider these ideas to be opposing, but as we explore, we find nuance and complexity. We might begin to see a full spectrum instead of black and white, and we might find that God is present in between. This Lent, we're trusting that God shows up in shades of gray, rainbow hues, and everywhere in between.
Relax, Relate, Release Art Worship: Nurturing Compassion & Resilience in Trying Times

In this season of uncertainty, finding the ground beneath our feet can seem like an impossible task! Join us for an unconventional worship experience where we will engage in artmaking to explore what it means to be rooted and grounded in trying times by making a plant terrarium. Although no artistic experience is necessary, be prepared to get your hands dirty! All are welcome!
Jesus' Journey: A Holy Week Craft Night for Kids

Drop by the front steps of CHUMC in the morning for foot washing and communion. Join us in the evening for a shared dinner and communion.
Good Friday Worship

Join a quiet, contemplative worship service, at either 12:00pm or 7:00pm, to commemorate the death of Jesus on the cross.

Easter Feaster & Children's Easter Egg Hunt

Invite your neighbors, bring a basket, and join our children’s ministry on the church steps for a good ole Easter Egg Hunt. AND bring some finger foods (no nuts, please) to share for a time of fellowship between the worship services.

Come and celebrate the Lord of New Life for He has risen indeed! Bring a flower to adorn our outdoor cross.

Support our children & youth by teaching Bible lessons, leading activities, preparing snack suppers, & more. Must be or become Safe Sanctuary certified to work with children & youth.
