Covenant Bible Study

This in-depth, 24-week study of the Old and New Testaments looks at the Bible through the theme of “covenant.”  Together, participants learn from our biblical ancestors how to create, live, and trust the covenant that God makes with us.  The study underscores the unique relationship that God chooses to have with us as God’s people – a relationship grounded in the faithfulness of God’s love and on our ongoing commitment to stay in love with God while we share signs of that love with others.  

Although not really a replacement for Disciple I Bible Study, it is a different take on in-depth study of the Bible as a whole.  It functions as a pre-requisite at CHUMC for Disciple 2-4, Christian Believer, Jesus in the Gospels, and Living the Questions.
