CALLED TO BE THE HEART OF GOD IN THE COMMUNITY

Café Capitol Hill

Café Capitol Hill is a fellowship meal served every Sunday at 12:15pm with and for our housed and unhoused neighbors on the Hill. This warm hospitality is more than just serving a meal; we offer a safe place to those living on the margins of our community and a place where they can feel at home. Café serves a special meal on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, too.

The first Sunday of each month, our Mending Hearts Ministry Team is available to do basic sewing repairs for those who have that need!

How you can help:

Volunteer
We can always use your helping hand:

  • Volunteer to help prepare the meal, serve, or share a meal with our Café guests.  Just come down to Fellowship Hall after worship any Sunday.
  • Gather and lead a cook team to prepare, serve, and share a meal with our Café guests.

Sponsor A Sunday
Interested in sponsoring a Café? Your gift of $150 can feed up to 60 people.
Assemble a team that would be willing to schedule, prepare, and serve a meal on a Sunday.

Funding
Café Capitol Hill can use your gifts now and throughout the year. Mark monetary gifts for “Café Capitol Hill” and put it in the offering plate on Sunday or drop it by the church office.

Food
We can also take donations of food.  Just contact us with what you might like to donate!
