CALLED TO BE THE HEART OF GOD IN THE COMMUNITY

Practice Contemplative Prayer – Begins June 2, 2014

ContemplativePrayer-smDo you live in a noisy, busy life and desire some quiet space to be with God?

Are you attracted to silence or do you find silence to be a bit uncomfortable?

Would you like to explore or deepen your experience with different ways of praying used by fellow followers of God throughout the centuries?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, consider joining us for an exploration of Contemplative Prayer:

  • Mondays, beginning June 2, 2014 for 5 weeks
  • 7:00-8:30pm
  • In the Chapel
  • Register now below!

Each week, we will have brief introduction to different ways of praying; time to practice specific contemplative prayer practices (such as practices that use breathing, mantra, prayer beads, lectio divina, the Jesus Prayer, and artwork); time for reflection; and time for questions and sharing.
