Local Missions Ministry

The Local Missions Ministry team is hard at work supporting CHUMC's mission to be the heart of God in the community. Our volunteers engage in monthly service opportunities that include visiting women's shelters, participating in servathons and supporting Capitol Hill Group Ministry's outreach programs.

In November we join CHGM's team for the DC Help the Homeless Walk. We prepare meals for those in need and our holiday festivities include Thanksgiving baskets and Christmas stockings for needy families in our community.
